Walden Receives Human Rights Award

Walden was pleased and honored to receive the American Rights at Work Eleanor Roosevelt Human Rights Award on April 6, 2006.  American Rights at Work, a labor rights organization, developed the Eleanor Roosevelt Human Rights Award to recognize those “who use their talents and influence to advance our understanding of workers’ rights as a cornerstone of human rights and social justice.” 

Other recipients of the award were:
Studs Terkel
Danny Glover
Cingular Wireless
Tom Morello.
